RapidRatings Media Hub

01. Background & Brief

As RapidRatings started publishing more—and a wider variety of—content, I wanted to make exploring and navigating an easier and more intuitive experience. The current site separates each article and collateral type onto its own page with no dedicated navigation between them. But, with so much related content across the media types, it makes sense to host them in one central location. Thus, the idea for the RapidRatings Media Hub was born.

02. Mockups

After researching various content hub and CMS design examples, I created initial wireframes in Figma. Once I determined the user flow and content types, I created higher res prototypes. The media hub features 3 main page types: the homepage, an article/content list page, and an article post page (for native blogs, press releases, etc. on the site). Each content category has a section on the homepage and is ordered by traffic and business impact.

While this is still part of the main RapidRatings website, I wanted it to feel like its own space to encourage exploration and learning. The media hub features an independent navigation bar and a content tagging system that labels themes and formats for each piece.

From here, the media hub will be built in Webflow and published on the RapidRatings website.
