03. Social Animation
As part of the social strategy for this campaign I created a short video and logo animation. For continuity across the campaign I featured the same two characters, using both static illustration and hand-drawn animation. The logo animation can be recycled in future videos as part of a motion design system to increase Amplify's brand recognition and familiarity.
02. Social Ads
For social ads, Amplify needed a few horizontal options to be used across multiple platforms. Following their new brand guidelines and illustration style, I created 3 social cards for their referral campaign. I developed two drawn characters to be featured across the assets for brand and campaign recognition, bringing energy and excitement into the referral program to help convey its benefits.
01. Background & Brief
As a branding exercise, I turned to the personal life insurance brand Amplify. Using their new brand guidelines, my task was to create collateral and materials for their "refer-a-friend" campaign. The materials included: ads for social, logo animation, animated video for social, and a campaign landing page. The new brand transitioned from a clean, corporate visual style to one featuring hand-drawn illustrations and causal, authentic stock photography. I chose to lean into the hand-drawn style to emphasize the playfulness of the Amplify brand and bring a friendly, human quality to the campaign.

04. Landing Page
The landing page was the final stage of the branding exercise where users could refer a friend to the program. To give the users an inviting and more customizable experience, I provided options to immediately refer friends through Amplify's website or to copy a link to send friends themselves. I wanted the page to feel aligned with the promotional content for a seamless and familiar experience, so I kept the page design close to that of the ads and video. Since a large portion of Amplify's users were on mobile devices, the page also needed to be responsive and scalable.
